Basateen Console

Inspired by the textured bark of the date palms that define Fayoum's landscape. Its surface is composed of hand-made ceramic tiles featuring illustrations created by children from Fayoum, capturing scenes of everyday life, nature, and local heritage through their own eyes. Bridging craftsmanship and community storytelling, Basateen serves as both a functional piece and a lasting record of place, culture, and memory.
